As part of our ongoing philanthropic work, RagingBull Charitable Giving donated $5,000 to Samaritan’s Purse to help with their work on-location supporting the families and communities impacted by natural disasters such as the March 3 tornadoes in Alabama.
Samaritan’s Purse was nominated to receive a donation by RagingBull.com member R. Oneal who suggested the charity because, “It is on the front lines of international relief and because they score very high on Charity Navigator with a 5 star rating; 98% of the donations go to the cause.”
Samaritan’s Purse is an international Christian relief organization helping those in desperate need who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine wherever they are, and mobilizes resources in the U.S. and around the world.
“Less than 24 hours after the storm, Samaritan’s Purse was on the ground in Alabama helping families devastated by the deadly tornadoes. Our volunteers are clearing debris, searching for personal belongings, tarping roofs, and chain-sawing downed trees,” said Beth Caudill, Director of Donor Services with Samaritan’s Purse. “We are thankful for the many donors who have made this work possible. Please continue to pray for Alabama families who are hurting.”
